Stuttgart 21: Gleise weg, Wohnraum entsteht [YouTube, German] - it doesn’t look like that much added space, but it’s in the middle of the city.
Environment
American farmers slid solar panels over 62,000 acres of farmland, and the biggest payoff had almost nothing to do with electricity - I was looking into this for our garden. It currently doesn’t make a lot of sense because of the ground anchor requirements.
